Here for sale 1983 Yamaha SG-1000 in Cherry Sunburst. A fantastic example of a custom guitar with build quality and tone that would rival any of its American-made competitors of the time. The SG 1000 was one of two double cutaway electric guitars produced by Yamaha in Japan from 1976 onwards and features a solid mahogany body & neck with a maple top and ebony fretboard. The body is fitted with a pair of vintage-voiced alnico humbuckers with a push-pull pot to coil-split each pickup, gold hardware and Schaller tuners, and a vibrant cherry sunburst finish. The guitar is in very good overall condition with some minor signs of playwear. It comes with an original hard case.
